A message on behalf of Marvel Fletcher Jean Chapman Fletcher and myself - Early this morning, our beloved Julian passed away. He was surrounded and embraced by my parents and I. Julian did not lose his fight with Cancer. He fought and in doing so inspired, encouraged, and supported countless amount of people. Julian got his flowers while he was with us and he said Gratitude was his super power. While he was overcome with pain and shortness of breath, he prayed for others. He prayed that they will lead their life with love and that God would see their struggles and comfort them. He said that this is a season of hope - and it still is. Those who knew Julian, knew his heart and his love for God. Julian was open about his fight with Lung cancer. He was inspired by it - it drove his creativity. He did not lose, he won. Julian lived ambitiously, gracefully, openly, and compassionately. He put his heart into his music, art, writing, and family. #Scubastrong was his fight anthem and it gave him Joy and energy to create scuba merch and to see people wear his design and support him. Julian never stop saying thank you, even when he could not speak. Julian wanted you all to know how much your prayers meant to him.
